Gutter Replacement
And that is where we come in – give us a call, and we’ll come to take a look at your gutter systems and determine whether they’ll need to be repaired or replaced entirely. If there are just a few troublesome spots, we’ll fix them easily, but if there are multiple sections that are giving you problems, we will advise you to save yourself from a headache and do a complete replacement.
Let’s have a look at some common gutter problems that we can help you with:
Blockage
This is one of the most common gutter problems that we run into. Your gutters can easily end up clogged by the various debris such as the build-ups made from the natural materials (like leaves); or some unnatural ones (like tennis balls, for example).
If you ever notice water marks under your gutters (or mildew near the foundation), that means that your gutters are overflowing and will need to be cleaned out. And don’t just think horizontal here – it is possible that the downspout is also blocked, and that it also needs to be cleaned out.

Sag
If you notice that your gutters are pulling away from the house or leaning down, you will need to act quickly – the rotting fascia board has to be avoided at all costs. Otherwise, you’re risking the collapse of the whole gutters systems. The reason behind the gutter sag is probably the result of a broken spike or a hanger, which means that this hardware will have to be replaced.
Another possible reason for the sagging is the excess weight inside the gutters, and that returns us to the most common problem No. 1 – the debris that needs to be removed.
Leaks
If you conclude that your gutters aren’t blocked in any way, but the water is still somehow escaping, you are probably having a leak. Sometimes, this leak will occur at joints that are holding sections of the gutters together, and these can be simply resealed.
In other cases, a leak will develop as the result of corrosion or some other kind of damage. These cracks can be patched, but that needs to be well-done in order to prevent that very same crack from becoming a recurring problem.

Poor pitch
In order to keep the water flowing, the gutters are meant to have a slope towards the ground. If you notice that the water is slowly pooling inside your gutters, but there is no blockage whatsoever, your gutters systems are probably pitched in a wrong way.
This can be the result of the poorly done installation or just the house setting and stands as a problem that’s often hard to identify. Nevertheless, it still needs to be fixed, as the pooling water usually leads to problems such as corrosion, and sometimes even provides a breeding ground for the annoying mosquitoes.
